Debut single for Sudanese rapper and singer/songwriter Mvndila announced.
22-year-old Sudanese rapper, singer/songwriter Mvndila bends genres and sounds to produce heartfelt testimonies offering the emotional toll of being a young man in modern-day Sudan, showcasing the good, the bad and everything that’s in between.

Growing up between Sudan and Saudi Arabia, Mvndila’s influences include the classical haqeeba sound of Sudan as well as the modern-day raging Hip-Hop sound of Sudan. That resulted in a nuanced, genre-bending, experimental sound like no other across the MENA region.
The song 'Bako' is the collaborative work of established MENA Producers Saji of Nuslang, Sudan’s up-and-coming producer Mo Sauce and Egyptian rising star 77. The musical composition also includes an entrancing synth solo from Adiga leading man Seeda as well as a heart-thumping bass guitar performance from his Adiga co-star Hassan Al-Jaily.
The track was recorded at Capital 91.6 Studios in Khartoum under the supervision of resident producer Rainy Day, collaboratively mixed by Saji and 77 and was mastered by 77 at Cave Studios in Cairo.
Bako is available on all platforms now.
