Alcohol and cannabis were the two main substances of misuse among certain groups in Sudan, especially young adults. Over the past decade, there has been a surge in the use of other substances, including prescribed drugs, among young people and university students in particular. His latest collaboration tackled such a hard-hitting topic. Witnessing one of his friends lose sanity because of substance abuse inspired the track. "It was heartbreaking and unfortunate seeing my friend go crazy," he says. He hopes to create awareness about the ill effects of drug abuse that will leave a lasting impact on the youth of Sudan and the world.

If there is someone he aims to emulate, he shrugs with a smug. "For real no, I always to be me," he says. The budding rapper strives to be better every day and enjoy the moment. Keeping an original and authentic style, he believes, sets him apart. "I think my flow and lyrics make my style different from other rappers in the Sudanese scene."
