Graciano Major is known for his smooth vocals and heart-felt melodies.

He released his debut single You and Me featuring Britain’s Got Talent finalist Ryan O’Shaughnessy in 2013. He was featured in many collaborations with double-platinum artists Nana TheDarkman and Mr. President. In August of 2021, Graciano had the opportunity to go on a European Tour alongside Nana The Darkman as his backup vocalist singing all his classic hits including 'Lonely' and 'Remember The Time.' musivv caught up with the Dublin-born singer-songwriter for an exclusive interview.

For those who do not know please tell us something about yourself and your musical journey.‍

Well, appreciate you for having me first of all my name is Graciano Major. I am an R&B/Pop singer, and songwriter coming from Ireland Dublin just recently relocated to Dubai UAE , and I have been making music all my life since I can remember.

My music journey has been very personal and very optimistic journey which you can hear in it in my lyrics and melodies.‍

What were the challenges you faced pursuing a passion for music? ‍

To be honest with you I have not come across any challenges that personally affected me as I am a very optimistic person and YES I do believe what's meant for you it will not pass you. I have just recently moved to Dubai so I have not come across any challenges just yet! (Laughs) so far I have received nothing but love and support from everyone in the city and the appreciation for it makes me feel very humble.‍

Tell us what it is like to work with Nana The Darkman as a backup vocalist. How did that come about?‍

Wow, where do I start (thinks)? To be honest working with Nana The Darkman is very cool and it's a very organic workflow. We are both fellow Scorpios so you know how that goes haha we both are very passionate, driven and perfectionists in what we love to do. It's a long story how it all came about but long story short I reached out to him on Instagram and I received a voice note back from him saying how he would like to collaborate and work together. It was very shocking for me as I am a very big fan since I was a kid. He's a double-platinum artist and legend in the game so it was a no-brainer and look at us now—touring Europe. It's crazy!

Tell us about RG Major.‍

RG Major is a duo of sick producer Ramzy Shaar from Dubai and myself. We are currently working on our original material. I am very excited to share this new music with the world. It will be out very soon! ‍

What made you consider relaunching your YouTube channel? ‍

I have not been very active on my YouTube platform for the past 2 years so I decided to relaunch it with all the stuff that I am very passionate about not just music but traveling the world and showing people behind the scenes of my day-to-day life and all the beautiful things that music has allowed me to do. Also, show the people the ups and the downs that come with this music lifestyle and all the hard work that goes into just making a song, etc. And of course, it's all just for inspiration purposes for other talented individuals to do better than me and learn from my mistakes and become better at their craft as I always say #stayinspired so we can inspire others. ‍

What has been your biggest accomplishment so far? ‍

There are so many accomplishments I have achieved. I never thought that it is even possible for a person like myself coming from a little village in Dublin, Ireland but the biggest accomplishment for me personally would have to be touring Europe with Nana The Darkman and performing in front of thousands of people. It's something that money can't buy! ‍

How do you stay grounded considering the amount of success you have experienced? ‍

Be humble. Be inspired. Work hard and be 'infinity'. In other words, be limitless in anything you do in life!

In 2019, Graciano opted to release a full-on self-written debut EP 'Beyond Passion' that reached both critical and commercial success. It was a blend of different genres to demonstrate his vocal diversity. Graciano is proud of the entire body of work as it came out from a lot of thought and passion.
