'Silence' is a rallying call for women to not stay silent in the face of abuse.
Allexa releases her latest single 'Silence'. This heartfelt track showcases Allexa's powerful writing skills as she blends powerful melodies with hard-hitting lyrics. Written and recorded several months ago in Los Angeles alongside renowned producer Teddy Marquee, 'Silence' builds from a thoughtful piano melody into a soaring and emotive track, with sweeping drums and dovetailing vocals driving home the serious message contained in the lyrics.
Dubai-based artist Allexa Bash is one of the most thought-provoking artists in the region, constantly asking important questions and using her voice to highlight social issues.
"'Silence' was inspired by a personal experience that I've been going through," says Allexa. "The main message is to not stay silent in the face of any kind of mental or physical abuse."
"I enjoyed the music production process the most when we started to transform the song from piano chords into a pop song with a strong message," the singer-songwriter says. The unpredictability of the creative process can be exhilarating, particularly when one is pressed for time, and must simply rely on intuition. The rush of adrenaline that accompanies this approach can be invigorating, though it may also prove challenging, and fraught with uncertainties. "And of course one of my favorite parts is the vocal recording, 'cause that’s how I can express fully my feelings and emotions in the song," Allexa expresses.
"I’m a perfectionist, big time!" She expects every undertaking to be executed at the pinnacle of her capacity, spanning from musical performances to social media postings. Although this self-imposed standard may occasionally impede progress, any output that falls short of her envisioned level of excellence causes profound unease.
"So now I’m actually learning how to ‘let it go’ and experiment," she says.

Silence' follows on from 2022's impressive debut album 'Dark Angels' which also tackled some vital issues including female empowerment, battling your inner demons and self-love.
Allexa has always known she was going to be a singer when she was just four years old. She's since risen through live shows, music school and high-profile shows and events to become a star in her own right.
Her debut single 'Spin Of The Moment' was a stunning pop-rock fusion drenched in authentic soul, with 'Heartbeats' carrying on that stunning momentum.
Musically, she's been inspired by a range of artists including Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Radiohead and Led Zeppelin. And it's those influences that give her such a unique sound, marking Allexa Bash out as thrillingly original and different, and yet perfectly in tune with the pop world.
